  SECTION 379.4115. Florida or wild panther; killing prohibited; penalty.

  • 1(1) 2It is unlawful for a person to kill a member of the Florida “endangered species,” as defined in s. 22379.2291(3), 23known as the Florida panther (29Felis concolor coryi32).
    33(2) 34It is unlawful for a person to kill any member of the species of panther (50Felis concolor52) occurring in the wild.
    57(3) 58A person who violates this section commits a Level Four violation under s. 71379.40172.
