  SECTION 985.721. Escapes from secure detention or residential commitment facility.

    4(1) 5Any secure detention facility maintained for the temporary detention of children, pending adjudication, disposition, or placement;
    21(2) 22Any residential commitment facility described in s. 29985.03(44), 30maintained for the custody, treatment, punishment, or rehabilitation of children found to have committed delinquent acts or violations of law; or
    51(3) 52Lawful transportation to or from any such secure detention facility or residential commitment facility,

    66constitutes escape within the intent and meaning of s. 75944.40 76and is a felony of the third degree, punishable as provided in s. 89775.082, 90s. 91775.083, 92or s. 94775.08495.
