SECTION 947.1747. Community control as a special condition of parole.

1Upon the establishment of an effective parole release date as provided for in ss. 15947.1745 16and 17947.1746, 18the commission may, as a special condition of parole, require an inmate to be placed in the community control program of the Department of Corrections as described in s. 47948.10 48for a period not exceeding 6 months. In every case in which the commission decides to place an inmate on community control as a special condition of parole, the commission shall provide a written explanation of the reasons for its decision.
