1(1) 2ADMINISTRATION.3-4The department is authorized to contract with the appropriate entities, agencies, persons, and local governing bodies to provide mental health services pursuant to ss. 28945.4029-30945.4931.
32(2) 33RULES.34-35The department, in cooperation with the Mental Health Program Office of the Department of Children and Families, shall adopt rules necessary for administration of ss. 60945.4061-62945.49 63in accordance with chapter 120.
68(3) 69ORIENTATION AND TRAINING.72-73Correctional officers employed by a mental health treatment facility shall receive specialized training above and beyond that required for basic certification pursuant to chapter 943.
98(4) 99STATUS OF INMATE.102-103An inmate receiving mental health treatment shall be subject to the same standards applied to other inmates in the department, including, but not limited to, consideration for parole, release by reason of gain-time allowances as provided for in s. 142944.291, 143and release by expiration of sentence.
