  SECTION 914.12. Memorandum of recognizance of witness; removal for violation.

  • 1When a county court judge recognizes a witness to appear before the grand jury, the judge shall give the witness a written memorandum stating that the witness is required to appear before the grand jury and the date when the grand jury will meet. An intentional failure of a county court judge to comply with this section, on recommendation of the grand jury, shall subject the judge to suspension from office by the Governor.
