SECTION 861.08. Obstructing county and settlement roads.

1(1) 2Whoever shall fell, drag, or by any means place a tree, or other obstruction, in or across any county settlement or neighborhood road regularly used, or whoever causes such obstruction to be placed therein, shall remove the same from such road within 6 hours thereafter.
47(2) 48Any person violating the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the second degree, punishable as provided in s. 71775.082 72or s. 74775.083; 75provided, that this law shall not apply to pasture fences, gates, nor the improvement of private property.
