  SECTION 838.15. Commercial bribe receiving.

  • 1(1) 2A person commits the crime of commercial bribe receiving if the person solicits, accepts, or agrees to accept a benefit with intent to violate a statutory or common-law duty to which that person is subject as:
    38(a) 39An agent or employee of another;
    45(b) 46A trustee, guardian, or other fiduciary;
    52(c) 53A lawyer, physician, accountant, appraiser, or other professional adviser;
    62(d) 63An officer, director, partner, manager, or other participant in the direction of the affairs of an organization; or
    81(e) 82An arbitrator or other purportedly disinterested adjudicator or referee.
    91(2) 92Commercial bribe receiving is a third degree felony, punishable as provided in s. 105775.082, 106s. 107775.083, 108or s. 110775.084111.
