SECTION 766.211. Payment of arbitration award; interest.

1(1) 2Within 20 days after the determination of damages by the arbitration panel pursuant to s. 17766.207, 18the defendant shall:
21(a) 22Pay the arbitration award, including interest at the legal rate, to the claimant; or
36(b) 37Submit any dispute among multiple defendants to arbitration pursuant to s. 48766.20849.
50(2) 51Commencing 90 days after the award rendered in the arbitration procedure pursuant to s. 65766.207, 66such award shall begin to accrue interest at the rate of 18 percent per year.
