  SECTION 7.36. Lee County.

  • 1The boundary lines of Lee County are as follows: Beginning where the north line of township forty-three south, intersects the range line between ranges twenty-seven and twenty-eight east, at the line between Charlotte and Glades Counties; thence west on said township line to the Gulf of Mexico; thence southerly along said gulf, including all islands and the waters of said gulf within the jurisdiction of the State of Florida, to the north line of township forty-eight south, extended westward; thence east on said township line to the northwest corner of section four, township forty-eight south, range twenty-five east; thence south to the northwest corner of section nine of said township and range; thence east on the north boundary of said section nine and other sections to the eastern boundary of range twenty-six east; thence north on said range line to the northwest corner of township forty-seven south, range twenty-seven east; thence east on the north line of township forty-seven south, to the east line of range twenty-seven east; thence north on said range line to the place of beginning.
