  SECTION 655.012. General supervisory powers; rulemaking; seal.

  • 1(1) 2In addition to other powers conferred by the financial institutions codes, the office shall have:
    17(a) 18General supervision over all state financial institutions, their subsidiaries, and service corporations.
    30(b) 31Access to all books and records of all persons over whom the office exercises general supervision as is necessary for the performance of the duties and functions of the office prescribed by the financial institutions codes.
    67(c) 68Power to issue orders and declaratory statements, disseminate information, and otherwise exercise its discretion to effectuate the purposes, policies, and provisions of the financial institutions codes.
    94(2) 95In addition to other powers conferred by the financial institutions codes, the commission shall have the power to adopt rules pursuant to ss. 118120.536(1) 119and 120120.54 121to implement the provisions of such codes.
    128(3) 129The office shall have an official seal by which its proceedings are authenticated.
