  SECTION 628.061. Investigation of proposed organization.

  • 1In connection with any proposal to incorporate a domestic insurer, the office shall make an investigation of:
    18(1) 19The character, reputation, financial standing, and motives of the organizers, incorporators, and subscribers organizing the proposed insurer.
    36(2) 37The character, financial responsibility, insurance experience, and business qualifications of its proposed officers.
    50(3) 51The character, financial responsibility, business experience, and standing of the proposed stockholders and directors.
