SECTION 628.041. Applicability of general corporation statutes.

1The applicable statutes of this state relating to the powers and procedures of domestic private corporations formed for profit shall apply to domestic stock insurers and to domestic mutual insurers, except:
32(1) 33As to any domestic mutual insurers incorporated pursuant to chapter 617, which chapter shall govern such insurers when in conflict with part I of chapter 607; and
60(2) 61When in conflict with the express provisions of this code.
