SECTION 627.111. Effective date of filing.

1(1) 2If, pursuant to s. 6627.101(2), 7the office determines to hold a public hearing as to a filing, or it holds such a public hearing pursuant to request therefor under s. 32627.101(3), 33it shall give written notice thereof to the rating organization or insurer that made the filing and shall hold such hearing within 30 days, and not less than 10 days prior to the date of the hearing, it shall give written notice of the hearing to the insurer or rating organization that made the filing. The office may also, in its discretion, give advance public notice of such hearing by publication of notice in one or more daily newspapers of general circulation in this state.
118(2) 119If the order of the office disapproves the filing, the filing shall not become effective during the effectiveness of such order. If the order of the office approves the filing, the filing shall become effective upon the date of the order or upon such subsequent date as may be satisfactory to the insurer or rating organization that made the filing.
