SECTION 626.915. Surplus lines insurance authorized.

1If certain insurance coverages of subjects resident, located, or to be performed in this state cannot be procured from authorized insurers, such coverages, hereinafter designated “surplus lines,” may be procured from unauthorized insurers, subject to the following conditions:
40(1) 41The insurance must be eligible for export under s. 50626.916 51or s. 53626.917;
54(2) 55The insurer must be an eligible surplus lines insurer under s. 66626.917 67or s. 69626.918;
70(3) 71The insurance must be so placed through a licensed Florida surplus lines agent; and
85(4) 86The other applicable provisions of this Surplus Lines Law must be met.
