  SECTION 626.895. Definition of “service company” or “service agent.”

  • 1For the purpose of this part, a “service company” is any business entity which has met all the requirements of ss. 22626.89523-24626.899, 25which does not control funds, and which has obtained office approval to contract with self-insurers or multiple-employer welfare arrangements for the purpose of providing all or any part of the services necessary to establish and maintain a multiple-employer welfare arrangement as defined in s. 69624.437(1)70. The term “service agent” is synonymous with the term “service company” as used in this part.
