  SECTION 626.781. “Ordinary class insurer” and “ordinary-variable contract class insurer” defined.

  • 1(1) 2An “ordinary class insurer” is an insurer writing life insurance on the legal reserve plan, for amounts of $1,000 or more, with premiums payable on the annual, semiannual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly basis.
    36(2) 37An “ordinary-variable contract class insurer” is an insurer writing an ordinary class of insurance which insurer issues life insurance or annuity contracts providing for payments or values which vary directly according to investment experience.
