SECTION 626.591. Penalty for violation of s. 626.581.

1(1) 2If any agent is found by the department to be in violation of s. 16626.581, 17the department may, in its discretion, suspend or revoke the agent’s license. If any insurer is found by the office to be in violation of s. 43626.581, 44the office may, in its discretion, suspend or revoke the insurer’s certificate of authority.
58(2) 59Any such suspension or revocation shall be for a period of not less than 6 months, and the insurer or agent shall not subsequently be authorized or licensed to transact insurance unless the office or department is satisfied that the insurer or agent will not again violate any of the provisions of s. 112626.581113.
