  SECTION 625.83. Failure to file reporting forms.

  • 1Any insurer who knowingly fails to file information, documents, or reports required to be filed under s. 18625.75 19or any rule thereunder shall forfeit to the state the sum of $100 for each day such failure to file continues. Such forfeiture shall be payable to the office to be deposited in the Insurance Regulatory Trust Fund and shall be recoverable in a civil suit in the name of the state. A time for filing may be extended for a reasonable period by the office.
