SECTION 625.81. Equity securities of certain domestic stock insurer exempted.

1The provisions of ss. 5625.756-7625.77 8do not apply to equity securities of a domestic stock insurer if:
20(1) 21Such securities are registered, or are required to be registered, pursuant to s. 12 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, or
45(2) 46Such domestic stock insurer does not have any class of its equity securities held of record by 100 or more persons on the last business day of the year next preceding the year in which equity securities of the insurer would be subject to the provisions of ss. 94625.7595-96625.77 97except for the provisions of this subsection.
