- 1A licensed insurance agent shall not be prohibited or excluded from competing or negotiating for any insurance product or plan purchased, provided, or endorsed by a state agency or any political subdivision of this state on the basis of the compensation, contractual or employment arrangement granted to the agent by an employer, insurer, or licensed agency. The term “political subdivision” has the same meaning set forth in s. 691.0170.
