SECTION 620.1116. Resignation of registered agent.

1(1) 2In order to resign as registered agent of a limited partnership or foreign limited partnership, the agent must deliver to the Department of State for filing a signed statement of resignation containing the name of the limited partnership or foreign limited partnership.
44(2) 45After filing the statement with the Department of State, the registered agent shall mail a copy to the limited partnership’s or foreign limited partnership’s current mailing address.
72(3) 73A registered agent is terminated on the 31st day after the Department of State files the statement of resignation.
