  SECTION 618.27. Use of term “cooperative.”

  • 1(1) 2No person doing business in this state, shall be entitled to use the word “cooperative” as part of its corporate or other business name or title unless it has complied with the provisions of this chapter.
    38(2) 39Any person now organized and existing or doing business in this state, and embodying the word “cooperative” as part of its corporate or other business name or title, and which is not organized in compliance with the provisions of this chapter, shall eliminate the word “cooperative” from its said corporate or other business name or title.
