1A thorough and careful survey and mapping of the soils of Florida is hereby declared as a matter of legislative policy, basic to:
24(1) 25The development of intelligent research programs on the agricultural potentialities of the soils of the state;
41(2) 42The organization of effective soil conservation and land use planning programs;
53(3) 54Agricultural extension and home demonstration work;
60(4) 61Highway and secondary road planning;
66(5) 67Establishment of equitable land tax assessments;
73(6) 74Agricultural teaching;
76(7) 77The development of a sound body of helpful agricultural information for nationwide distribution to prospective landowners; and
94(8) 95A number of other social and agricultural enterprises of broad public interest.
