  SECTION 601.68. Investigation of violations.

  • 1The Department of Agriculture may instigate and make investigation of any citrus fruit dealer who it has reason to believe has violated any law of this state governing and applicable to citrus fruit dealers, and, whenever the Department of Agriculture determines that any citrus fruit dealer has violated any law of the state governing and applicable to citrus fruit dealers, it may publish the facts and circumstances of such violation and suspend the license of such offender for a specific period or revoke the same or make such other appropriate order as it may deem just and proper, and any such order shall specify the effective date thereof and any order other than one suspending or revoking a license shall automatically suspend such license until said order is complied with. Any administrative order of the Department of Agriculture issued under the provisions of ss. 145601.66146-147601.68 148or s. 150601.70 151shall be deemed to have been issued in the county wherein the licensee has her or his main office, as disclosed in the licensee’s application for citrus dealer’s license.
