SECTION 601.49. Condition precedent to selling processed citrus products.

1A person, except as provided in s. 8601.50, 9may not sell or offer for sale, transport, receive, or deliver for transportation or market any canned or concentrated products of citrus fruits unless such products have been inspected and are accompanied by a certificate of inspection issued by a duly authorized inspector of the Department of Agriculture. However, in lieu of a certificate of inspection, proof of such inspection may be shown, pursuant to rules adopted by the Department of Citrus, by appropriate means on the manifest or bill of lading covering such shipment.
