SECTION 570.33. Director; qualifications; duties.

1(1) 2The director of the Division of Plant Industry shall be appointed by the commissioner and shall serve at the commissioner’s pleasure.
23(2) 24The director shall be responsible for protecting the plant industry of the state, and shall, under the direction of the commissioner, direct, coordinate, and enforce the activities described in this chapter, in chapters 581 and 586, and in other chapters and applicable rules.
