  SECTION 551.1045. Temporary licenses.

  • 1(1) 2Notwithstanding any provision of s. 7120.60 8to the contrary, the division may issue a temporary occupational license upon the receipt of a complete application from the applicant and a determination that the applicant has not been convicted of or had adjudication withheld on any disqualifying criminal offense. The temporary occupational license remains valid until such time as the division grants an occupational license or notifies the applicant of its intended decision to deny the applicant a license pursuant to the provisions of s. 85120.6086. The division shall adopt rules to administer this subsection. However, not more than one temporary license may be issued for any person in any year.
    112(2) 113A temporary license issued under this section is nontransferable.
