  SECTION 509.403. Operator’s writ of distress.

  • 1If, after a lockout has been imposed pursuant to s. 11509.401, 12a guest fails to make agreed-upon payments on an outstanding account, or, notwithstanding s. 26509.401, 27if a guest vacates the premises without making payment on an outstanding account, an operator may proceed to prosecute a writ of distress against the guest and the guest’s property. The writ of distress shall be predicated on the lien created by s. 70713.67 71or s. 73713.6874.
