  SECTION 501.2101. Enforcing authorities; moneys received in certain proceedings.

  • 1(1) 2Any moneys received by an enforcing authority for attorney’s fees and costs of investigation or litigation in proceedings brought under the provisions of s. 26501.207, 27s. 28501.208, 29or s. 31501.211 32shall be deposited as received in the Legal Affairs Revolving Trust Fund if the action is brought by the Department of Legal Affairs, and in the Consumer Frauds Trust Fund of the Justice Administrative Commission if the action is brought by a state attorney.
    76(2) 77Any moneys received by an enforcing authority and neither received for attorney’s fees and costs of investigation or litigation nor used to reimburse consumers found under this law to be damaged shall accrue to the state and be deposited as received in the General Revenue Fund unallocated.
