SECTION 487.163. Information; interagency cooperation.

1(1) 2The department may, in cooperation with the University of Florida or other agencies of government, publish information and conduct short courses of instruction in the safe use and application of pesticides for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this part.
44(2) 45The department may cooperate or enter into formal agreements with any other agency or educational institution of this state or its subdivisions or with any agency of any other state or of the Federal Government for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this part and of securing uniformity of regulations.
97(3) 98The department shall enter into an agreement with the Department of Environmental Protection to ensure that pesticides applied to waters of the state are regulated uniformly, including provisions for the coordination of agency staff and resources, through the implementation of permitting, compliance, and enforcement activities under ss. 145403.088 146and 147403.0885148.
