SECTION 464.0096. Nurse Licensure Compact; public records and meetings exemptions.

1(1) 2A nurse’s personal identifying information, other than the nurse’s name, licensure status, or licensure number, obtained from the coordinated licensure information system, as defined in s. 28464.0095, 29and held by the department or the board is exempt from s. 41119.07(1)42and s. 24(a), Art. I of the State Constitution unless the state that originally reported the information to the coordinated licensure information system authorizes the disclosure of such information by law. Under such circumstances, the information may only be disclosed to the extent permitted by the reporting state’s law.
91(2)(a) 92A meeting or portion of a meeting of the Interstate Commission of Nurse Licensure Compact Administrators established under s. 111464.0095112at which matters specifically exempted from disclosure by federal or state statute are discussed is exempt from s. 130286.011131and s. 24(b), Art. I of the State Constitution.
140(b) 141Recordings, minutes, and records generated during an exempt meeting are exempt from s. 154119.07(1)155and s. 24(a), Art. I of the State Constitution.
164(3) 165This section is subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act in accordance with s. 180119.15181and shall stand repealed on October 2, 2021, unless reviewed and saved from repeal through reenactment by the Legislature.
