1(1) 2The Board of Optometry has authority to adopt rules pursuant to ss. 14120.536(1)15and 16120.5417to implement the provisions of this chapter conferring duties upon it. Such rules shall include, but not be limited to, rules relating to:
40(a) 41Standards of practice, including, but not limited to, those provided for in s. 54463.013555.
56(b) 57Minimum equipment which a licensed practitioner shall at all times possess to engage in the practice of optometry.
75(c) 76Minimum procedures which shall constitute a visual examination.
84(d) 85Procedures for the safekeeping and transfer of prescription files or case records upon the discontinuance of practice.
102(e) 103Supervision of supportive personnel.
107(f) 108Courses and procedures for continuing education.
114(g) 115Administration and prescription of ocular pharmaceutical agents.
122(2) 123The board is authorized to disseminate information, the sole purpose of which is to inform licensed practitioners and the public of regulations regarding the practice of optometry.
