  SECTION 459.009. Inactive status.

  • 1(1) 2A license or certificate that has become inactive may be reactivated under s. 15459.008 16or s. 18459.022 19upon application to the department. The board shall prescribe by rule continuing education requirements as a condition of reactivating a license. The continuing education requirements for reactivating a license or certificate may not be fewer than 20 classroom hours for each year the license or certificate was inactive.
    67(2) 68The board shall adopt rules relating to reactivation of licenses or certificates that have become inactive and for the renewal of inactive licenses and certificates.
    93(3)(a) 94The department may not reactivate a license or certificate unless the inactive or delinquent licensee or certificateholder has paid any applicable biennial renewal or delinquency fee, or both, and a reactivation fee.
    126(b) 127The board shall prescribe by rule an application fee for inactive status, a biennial renewal fee for inactive status, a delinquency fee, and a fee for the reactivation of a license or certificate. None of these fees may exceed the biennial renewal fee established by the board for an active license or certificate.
