  SECTION 459.0077. Osteopathic faculty certificate.

  • 1(1) 2The department may issue an osteopathic faculty certificate without examination to an individual who remits an application fee, as set by the board, who demonstrates to the board that she or he is currently licensed to practice osteopathic medicine in another jurisdiction in the United States and who demonstrates to the board that she or he is a graduate of an accredited school of osteopathic medicine and has completed the requirements of s. 75459.005576. The certificate shall authorize the holder to practice only in conjunction with her or his teaching duties at an accredited school of osteopathic medicine or in its affiliated teaching hospitals or clinics.
    109(2) 110Such certificate shall automatically expire upon termination of the holder’s relationship with the school or after a period of 24 months, whichever occurs first.
