1(1) 2The area offices of licensure and certification of the agency shall provide consultation to the following upon request:
20(a) 21A licensee of a facility.
26(b) 27A person interested in obtaining a license to operate a facility under this part.
41(2) 42As used in this section, “consultation” includes:
49(a) 50An explanation of the requirements of this part and rules adopted pursuant thereto;
63(b) 64An explanation of the license application and renewal procedures;
73(c) 74The provision of a checklist of general local and state approvals required prior to constructing or developing a facility and a listing of the types of agencies responsible for such approvals;
105(d) 106An explanation of benefits and financial assistance available to a recipient of supplemental security income residing in a facility;
125(e) 126Any other information which the agency deems necessary to promote compliance with the requirements of this part; and
144(f) 145A preconstruction review of a facility to ensure compliance with agency rules and this part.
160(3) 161The agency may charge a fee commensurate with the cost of providing consultation under this section.
