  SECTION 425.29. Exemption from Sale of Securities Law.

  • 1The provisions of the 516Sale of Securities Law shall not apply to any note, bond or other evidence of indebtedness issued by any cooperative or foreign corporation transacting business in this state pursuant to this chapter to the United States or any agency or instrumentality thereof, to any commercial bank or banking institution chartered by state or national laws, to any financing institution, organized on a cooperative plan for the purpose of financing its members’ programs, projects, and undertakings, in which the cooperative holds membership, or to any mortgage, deed of trust, or other security agreement executed to secure the same. The provisions of said sale of securities law shall not apply to the issuance of membership certificates by any cooperative or any such foreign corporation.
