SECTION 413.40. Powers of division; independent living program.

1The division, in administering a program to provide independent living services to persons who have significant disabilities, shall be authorized, contingent upon available funding, to:
26(1) 27Employ necessary personnel and consultants.
32(2) 33Contract with any public or private entity, including centers for independent living, to provide independent living services in accordance with the state plan for independent living.
