- 1As used in ss. 5410.0316-7410.0368:9(1) 10“Department” means the Department of Children and Families.18(2) 19“Disabled adult” means any person at least 18 years of age, but under 60 years of age, who is not eligible for vocational rehabilitation services and who has one or more permanent physical or mental limitations that restrict his or her ability to perform the normal activities of daily living and impede his or her capacity to live independently.78(3) 79“Home care for disabled adults” means a full-time, family-type living arrangement in a private home under which a person or group of persons provides, on a nonprofit basis, basic services of maintenance and supervision, and any necessary specialized services as are needed, for three or fewer disabled adults.
