SECTION 397.6791. Emergency admission; persons who may initiate.

1The following persons may request a certificate for emergency assessment or admission:
13(1) 14In the case of an adult, any professional who may issue a professional certificate pursuant to s. 31397.6793, 32the person’s spouse or legal guardian, any relative of the person, or any other responsible adult who has personal knowledge of the person’s substance abuse impairment.
58(2) 59In the case of a minor, the minor’s parent, legal guardian, or legal custodian.
