1(1) 2The Children’s Medical Services program consists of the following components:
12(a) 13The newborn screening program established in s. 20383.1421.
22(b) 23The regional perinatal intensive care centers program established in ss. 33383.1534-35383.1936.
37(c) 38The developmental evaluation and intervention program, including the Early Steps Program.
49(d) 50The Children’s Medical Services network.
55(2) 56The Children’s Medical Services program shall not be deemed an insurer and is not subject to the licensing requirements of the Florida Insurance Code or the rules adopted thereunder.
