- 1(1) 2No wholesale or retail dealer, as defined in s. 11379.362(1), 12shall sell any oysters produced outside this state unless they are labeled as such, or unless it is otherwise reasonably made known to the purchaser that the oysters were not produced in this state.46(2) 47The Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services shall promulgate rules whereby oysters produced in Florida waters can be traced to the location from which they were harvested. A wholesale or retail dealer may not sell any oysters produced in this state unless they are labeled so that they may be traced to the point of harvesting.
