  SECTION 377.602. Definitions.

    9(1) 10“Department” means the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
    19(2) 20“Energy resources” includes, but shall not be limited to:
    29(a) 30Energy converted from solar radiation, wind, hydraulic potential, tidal movements, biomass, geothermal sources, and other energy resources the department determines to be important to the production or supply of energy.
    60(b) 61Propane, butane, motor gasoline, kerosene, home heating oil, diesel fuel, other middle distillates, aviation gasoline, kerosene-type jet fuel, naphtha-type jet fuel, residual fuels, crude oil, and other petroleum products and hydrocarbons as may be determined by the department to be of importance.
    103(c) 104All natural gas, including casinghead gas, all other hydrocarbons not defined as petroleum products in paragraph (b), and liquefied petroleum gas as defined in s. 129527.01130.
    131(d) 132All types of coal and products derived from its conversion and used as fuel.
    146(e) 147All types of nuclear energy, special nuclear material, and source material, as defined in former s. 163290.07164.
    165(f) 166All electrical energy.
    169(3) 170“Person” means producer, refiner, wholesaler, marketer, consignee, jobber, distributor, storage operator, importer, exporter, firm, corporation, broker, cooperative, public utility as defined in s. 193366.02, 194rural electrification cooperative, municipality engaged in the business of providing electricity or other energy resources to the public, pipeline company, person transporting any energy resources as defined in subsection (2), and person holding energy reserves for further production; however, “person” does not include persons exclusively engaged in the retail sale of petroleum products.
