SECTION 334.175. Certification of project design plans and surveys.

1(1) 2All design plans and surveys prepared by or for the department shall be signed, sealed, and certified by the professional engineer or surveyor or architect or landscape architect in responsible charge of the project work. Such professional engineer, surveyor, architect, or landscape architect must be duly registered in this state.
52(2) 53For portions of transportation projects on, under, or over a department-owned right-of-way, and regardless of funding source, the department shall review the project’s design plans for compliance with departmental design standards.
