1(1) 2Except as provided in ss. 7775.21, 8775.261, 9943.0435, 10944.607, 11and 12985.4815, 13whenever any person, after applying for or receiving a driver license or identification card, changes his or her legal name, that person must within 30 days thereafter obtain a replacement license or card that reflects the change.
50(2) 51If a person, after applying for or receiving a driver license or identification card, changes the legal residence or mailing address in the application, license, or card, the person must, within 30 calendar days after making the change, obtain a replacement license or card that reflects the change. A written request to the department must include the old and new addresses and the driver license or identification card number. Any person who has a valid, current student identification card issued by an educational institution in this state is presumed not to have changed his or her legal residence or mailing address. This subsection does not affect any person required to register a permanent or temporary address change pursuant to s. 171775.13, 172s. 173775.21, 174s. 175775.25, 176or s. 178943.0435179.
180(3) 181A violation of this section is a nonmoving violation with a penalty as provided in s. 197318.18(2)198.
199(4) 200Notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter, if a licensee established his or her identity for a driver license using an identification document authorized under s. 226322.08(2)(c)7227. or 8., the licensee may not change his or her name or address except in person and upon submission of an identification document authorized under s. 254322.08(2)(c)7255. or 8.
