  SECTION 320.67. Inspection of books or other documents of licensee.

  • 1(1) 2The department may inspect the pertinent books, records, letters, and contracts of a licensee relating to any written complaint made to it against such licensee.
    27(2) 28In the exercise of its duties under this section, the department is granted and authorized to exercise the power of subpoena for the attendance of witnesses and the production of any documentary evidence necessary to the disposition by it of any written complaint under this section. Any information obtained may not be used against the licensee as the basis for a criminal prosecution under the laws of this state.
