CHAPTER 319. TITLE CERTIFICATES |

- 1(1) 2The department has authority to adopt rules pursuant to ss. 12120.536(1) 13and 14120.54 15to implement the provisions of this chapter, including rules that allow alternative methods of proof of satisfaction of liens.34(2) 35The department shall prescribe all forms required by or deemed necessary to the administration of this chapter. The department shall maintain a sufficient supply of blank forms and shall provide any form other than a certificate of title without charge to any resident of this state upon request. The department shall adopt as rules the documents and forms contained in former s. 97319.31, 98with such modifications as it deems necessary to the effective administration of this chapter.112(3) 113The department shall maintain indexes of motor vehicles and mobile homes by name of owner, by title number, and by manufacturer’s motor number or vehicle identification number. The department shall keep an electronic record of notices of liens and satisfactions thereof. Such indexes and records shall be open to the inspection of the public at all reasonable times, except as provided in chapter 119.
