SECTION 316.430. Multiple-beam road-lighting equipment.

1(1) 2Every motorcycle other than a motor-driven cycle shall be equipped with multiple-beam road-lighting equipment.
16(2) 17Such equipment shall:
20(a) 21Reveal persons and vehicles at a distance of at least 300 feet ahead when the uppermost distribution of light is selected;
42(b) 43Reveal persons and vehicles at a distance of at least 150 feet ahead when the lowermost distribution of light is selected.
64On a straight, level road under any condition of loading none of the high intensity portion of the beam shall be directed to strike the eyes of an approaching driver.
94(3) 95A violation of this section is a noncriminal traffic infraction, punishable as a nonmoving violation as provided in chapter 318.
