SECTION 288.9937. Evaluation of programs.

1The Office of Economic and Demographic Research shall analyze, evaluate, and determine the economic benefits, as defined in s. 20288.005, 21of the first 3 years of the Microfinance Loan Program and the Microfinance Guarantee Program. The analysis must also evaluate the number of jobs created, the increase or decrease in personal income, and the impact on state gross domestic product from the direct, indirect, and induced effects of the state’s investment. The analysis must also identify any inefficiencies in the programs and provide recommendations for changes to the programs. The office shall submit a report to the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives by January 1, 2018. This section expires January 31, 2018.
