1It shall be the purpose of the Department of Management Services:
12(1) 13To promote efficiency, economy, and the conservation of energy and to effect coordination in the purchase of commodities and contractual services for the state.
37(2) 38To provide uniform commodity and contractual service procurement policies, rules, procedures, and forms for use by agencies and eligible users.
58(3) 59To procure and distribute federal surplus tangible personal property allocated to the state by the Federal Government.
