  SECTION 20.25501. Department of Environmental Protection; trust funds.

  • 1The following trust funds shall be administered by the Department of Environmental Protection:
    14(1) 15The Federal Grants Trust Fund.
    20(a) 21The trust fund is established for use as a depository for funds to be used for allowable grant activities funded by restricted program revenues from federal sources. Moneys to be credited to the trust fund shall consist of grants and funding from the Federal Government, interest earnings, and cash advances from other trust funds.
    75(b) 76Funds shall be expended only pursuant to legislative appropriation or an approved amendment to the department’s operating budget pursuant to the provisions of chapter 216.
    101(2) 102The Administrative Trust Fund.
    106(a) 107The trust fund is established for use as a depository for funds to be used for management activities that are departmental in nature and is funded by assessments against trust funds.
    138(b) 139Notwithstanding s. 141216.301 142and pursuant to s. 146216.351, 147any balance in the trust fund at the end of a fiscal year shall remain in the trust fund and shall be available for carrying out the purpose of the trust fund.
    179(3) 180The Working Capital Trust Fund.
    185(a) 186The trust fund is established for use as a depository for funds to be used for the operation of the department’s information technology services and is funded by assessments against trust funds.
    218(b) 219Notwithstanding s. 221216.301 222and pursuant to s. 226216.351, 227any balance in the trust fund at the end of a fiscal year shall remain in the trust fund and shall be available for carrying out the purpose of the trust fund.
